MB和MB/6B系列中的最大压力冲击关闭阀是在正常工作条件下保持打开的安全装置，这是由于在手动重新武装时触发的自动机制。如果关闭静压室检测到入口压力大于校准值，则释放关闭装置。
The maximum pressure slam shut off valves in the MB and MB/6B series are safety devices kept open under normal work conditions thanks to an automatic mechanism triggered upon manually rearming. If the shut off plenum detects an inlet pressure greater than the calibration value, it releases the closure device which stops the gas flow.
